Volunteer at the 2026 Annual Conference!
AASECT Members can apply to join our onsite team in San Juan, Puerto Rico to support attendees and help them get the most out of their conference experience.
Volunteers play a vital role in the success of the AASECT Annual Conference by helping create a welcoming, accessible, and engaging experience for all attendees. Volunteer support allows participants to fully connect with the conference programming, community, and resources.
Conference volunteers assist in a variety of areas, including registration, continuing education (CE) scanning, welcoming exhibitors and sponsors, moderating live-streamed sessions, capturing photos and videos, and helping attendees navigate conference spaces.
Volunteering offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the AASECT community and participate in the 2026 Annual Conference, Aquí y Ahora (Here & Now). In appreciation of their service, selected volunteers will receive complimentary conference registration.
AASECT is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment at all events. Members from underrepresented and marginalized communities are strongly encouraged to apply. Bilingual (English/Spanish) volunteers are especially welcome.
Volunteer applications must be submitted by March 21, 2026.
Requirements

- Active AASECT Membership: Student, early career professional, or professional.
- You have not been a conference volunteer more than two times in the past.
- You were not a volunteer at the 2025 AASECT Annual Conference.
- Available for onsite support starting Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 2:00 pm AT through 12:00 PM ATon Sunday, June 7, 2026.
- Open to participate in meetings/conference calls as required prior to and onsite at the conference.
Selected volunteers will receive complimentary conference registration for the 2026 general program while assuming responsibility for their own lodging and travel expenses. Once selected, volunteers will receive additional information regarding complimentary registration.
Application Deadline: March 21
Submit the 2026 Volunteer Application by March 21, 2026 to be considered as an onsite volunteer. A team of volunteers will be selected from the application submissions. Thank you for your interest! We couldn’t do this without you.
