Streaming Sessions (Live only)

A selection of the AASECT program will be live-streamed from the AASECT Conference via Zoom for virtual participation! These virtual sessions will not be recorded so live attendance is required.

Age Requirement

We require that conference attendees and exhibitors be adults aged 18 and above. This program is designed for mature audiences, and minors under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend. This policy is in place to ensure the appropriate content and atmosphere for all attendees, as well as compliance with legal regulations regarding minors at such events. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Pay It Forward

Add a Pay It Forward donation to help expand access to this year’s conference. Your contribution directly supports local Puerto Rican professionals by reducing financial barriers to participation. Together, we can broaden access and ensure this conference is welcoming to the local community hosting us. Donations can be added when you complete your registration.

Conduct Guidelines

AASECT Members are well acquainted with the crucial importance of consent in healthy sexuality. Likewise, we encounter the clinical and interpersonal importance of maintaining good boundaries on a daily basis. It is only good professionalism to assume that, in the public areas of our meeting venues, we are surrounded by a general public who may have less experience with these topics than we do. We invite conference attendees to be thoughtful and respectful about their conversations in public spaces; what may be routine conversation for us as professionals is not likely to be for others. Changes and Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

All changes and cancellations must be sent in writing to conference@aasect.org.

A refund, less a $100 cancellation fee, will be issued if notice of registration cancellation is received, in writing, on or before May 9, 2026 (additional bank fee may apply from your financial institution).

There are no refunds for cancellations received after May 9, 2026. No refunds will be granted for no-show registrations.

Please note that this policy applies to all registrations, including those for Pre-Conferences Education Session(s) purchased.

Switching from In-Person to Virtual Attendance:

If a request to switch from in-person to virtual attendance is received on or before May 9, 2026, registration will be updated to virtual-only and a refund of the difference in registration fees will be issued (less applicable bank fees, if any).

If a request to switch from in-person to virtual is received after May 9, 2026, registration will be updated to virtual-only; however, no refund of the price difference will be issued.

Transfer Policy

Replacement of a registered attendee by a business colleague/ co-worker must be submitted in writing via email at conference@aasect.org and must be dated on or before May 9, 2026. These requests will not be accepted without advance written authorization from AASECT (conference@aasect.org). A $50 processing fee will apply (additional bank fee may apply from your financial institution).

Should AASECT be required to cancel the conference for reasons outside of their control, AASECT is not responsible for reimbursement of any travel expenses.
