Note: We recommend making your guest room reservations early and no later than May 15, 2026. Rooms within the AASECT block at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort & Casino are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. AASECT cannot guarantee room availability once the block fills.

A deposit equal to one night’s room rate plus applicable taxes will be charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable. This deposit will be applied toward your final bill at check-in.

The AASECT conference hotel block is negotiated specifically to support attendees participating in the conference. Rooms within the block are intended for individuals who plan to attend and meaningfully participate in the conference programming.

We understand that travel plans can change and that attendees may choose to extend their stay before or after the conference. However, reserving rooms within the conference block without a genuine intention to attend the conference, or securing rooms primarily for personal travel unrelated to conference participation, can negatively impact the conference’s contractual obligations with the hotel and the availability of rooms for active attendees.

By reserving a room within the conference block, registrants acknowledge that the room block is intended for conference participants and agree to use the reservation in good faith in connection with conference attendance
