We’re dedicated to fostering a welcoming and accessible space for all attendees, whether you’re joining us in person or virtually.

♿ Accessibility at the Conference

AASECT is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible experience for all attendees. We hope the following resources support your comfort and participation throughout the conference.

Accessible Presentations – ASL Interpretation, Captioning, Visuals

All speakers have been instructed to create visually accessible presentations and include captions in any videos.

ASL interpretation needs were collected at the time of registration. For virtual attendees, we will offer live CART captioning during sessions.

ADA Compliance

The conference venue is ADA compliant and offers a comprehensive range of accessibility features, including wheelchair-accessible routes throughout the property, Braille and raised signage, visual alarms, and more.

Airborne Illness Precautions

If you test positive for a contagious illness (including but not limited to COVID-19, Flu, RSV, and Strep), have a fever, are experiencing any symptoms of an illness, or are otherwise not feeling well, please practice community care by staying isolated onsite or joining us virtually.

Masking is not currently required – we respect any individual’s choice to wear a mask during the conference.

Dietary Needs

Dietary needs and requests were collected at the time of registration. Food served during conference programs will be labeled to identify allergens.

Gender-Neutral Restrooms

Available throughout our conference space.

Lactation Space

A private, dedicated space for nursing or pumping will be provided. Visit the Registration Desk for access to this space.

Pronoun Markers

Pins and badges will be available at registration to help express your pronouns comfortably.

Quiet/Processing Space

A designated space will be available for those who can use a calm, low-stimulation environment to take a break or process.

Scent-Sensitive

Some attendees may be sensitive to fragrances. Please avoid using perfumes, colognes, or other strongly scented personal products while in the conference space.
