Call for 2024 Moderators

We’re pleased to announce two calls for moderators for the 2024 AASECT Annual Conference program:

IN-PERSON – June 12-15, St. Louis, MO

Moderate an in-person pre-conference workshop, concurrent session, or original research session. Volunteers must be registered for the workshop or session to moderate and apply for CE credit. This is your chance to get more involved in the session and make a positive impact. You must be an AASECT Member to apply.

Responsibilities

• Welcome session attendees
• Introduce the presenter(s)
• Facilitate the overall session
• Ensure a conducive learning environment
• Encourage a smooth process

VIRTUAL – June 12-15, Zoom

Moderate a virtual plenary or concurrent session. Volunteers must be registered for the virtual conference as well as the session to moderate and apply for CE credit. This is your chance to get more involved in the session and make a positive impact. You must be an AASECT Member to apply.

Responsibilities

• Welcome virtual session attendees via Zoom
• Facilitate the Q&A portion of the session
• Keep the Zoom chat buzzing
• Ensure a conducive learning environment
• Encourage a smooth process

Step 2: Once you have your selection in mind, sign up through the online form. Please submit your full name, credentials, and pronouns as you would like them to appear on the schedule.
