How to Use the Canva Templates
We’ve created customizable Canva templates to make it easy for you to share your participation in the AASECT 2026 Annual Conference.
1. Access the template
Click the Canva link provided in this toolkit. You may be prompted to log in to Canva (a free account works).
2. Create your own version
Once the template opens, select “Use Template for New Design” to edit your own copy.
3. Upload your headshot
– Click on the image frame in the design.
– Select “Uploads” from the left toolbar and upload your photo.
– Drag and drop your image into the frame.
Tip: Use a high-resolution image with good lighting.
4. Customize your information
– Click directly on the text fields to update:
- Your name and credentials
- Session title or role (Speaker, Volunteer, Exhibitor, etc.)
- Date and time (if included)
Please keep edits within the existing layout to maintain consistency.
5. Keep key elements intact
Do not change the AASECT logo, conference name, colors, or fonts.
6. Download your graphic
- Click “Share” → “Download.”
- Select PNG format (recommended for social media)
- Choose high-quality settings
7. Share on social media
Post your graphic on your preferred platform using one of the sample captions provided.
Be sure to tag AASECT and use the hashtag #AASECT2026

Things to keep in mind when using the conference logo:
- Do not alter, stretch, or modify the logo in any way
- Keep the logo intact and clearly associated with your participation (attending, speaking, or sponsoring)
- Do not use the logo to represent yourself as speaking or posting on behalf of AASECT
