Do I have to pre-register for the sessions I want to attend?

No, pre-registration for conference sessions (excluding pre-conference workshops) is not required. Meeting rooms occasionally fill up, so be sure to get to your first-choice sessions a few minutes early. Registration and additional fees are required for pre-conference workshop sessions.

How do I get my CE credits?

AASECT will be tracking all CE credits electronically during the Annual Conference. Attendance at educational sessions will be recorded through a name-badge-scanning system at the entrance to each education session. Each attendee will have a personalized barcode on their name badge that will be scanned when entering and exiting all educational sessions to track attendance. Once the conference concludes, you will be emailed with instructions on how to download your CE Certificate.

What CE Credits are available?

Select sessions are approved for CE credits through APA, NBCC, and NASW. For details on which sessions are eligible and their specific approvals, please visit our CE Credits page.

What’s the best way to connect with people at the conference?

Students, new AASECT Members, and first-time conference attendees are invited to a short orientation preceding the opening plenary session. Select board and committee members will host you and provide information about the conference. Social events and the exhibit hall also provide great opportunities to meet people and connect with peers. The mobile app allows you to message other attendees. AASECT is a friendly community, so if you see an AASECT nametag, introduce yourself.
